Jamie Lynch & Ryan Campbell - who were half of the winning Stirlingshire Junior & Youth Golf Society who won the County Team Championship. (Congratulations also to Jamie in achieving a trial with the Scottish under 18 squad.)

Louise MacGregor who shot 1 under par in the recent county Ladies medal.

Drill of the month

To gain total control of your golf swing practice hitting balls in slow motion soo that your 7 iron only goes 50 yards.

Hit 10 shots in ultra slow motion, 10 at quarter speed, 10 at half speed and 10 at three quarter speed.

You will be surprised how difficult it is to begin with but it will help you achieve much better feel in your golf swing.

Stewart Craig achieves Tour Coach Status

My teaching career received a huge boost 12 months ago when I was asked by ladies European tour legend Corrine Dibnah to become her coach and help her rebuild her game for another assault on tour after 2 years out of the game. This was followed 6 months later with me getting the opportunity to work with Dale Reid OBE and Allison Nicholas MBE. Since then I have now been out on tour on a number of occasions and have now had the opportunity to work with Ellen Smets (BEL), Elisabeth Esterl (GER), Julie Forbes (SCO) and Maria Boden (SWE). My work with all of these girls is still at an early stage but already Ellen Smets has reaped the benefits of our work with a second place finish in the SAS Masters, her best finish on tour to date.

Stewart is also the Technical Director of the European Golf Teachers Federation
