Results of "A" Team matches

• Falkirk v Aberfoyle won 8–0
• Falkirk v Balfron won 8–0
• Bonnybridge v Falkirk won 6–2
• Dunblane New v Falkirk lost 5–3
• Bridge of Allan v Falkirk drew 4–4

The Team are top of the Inter Club "B" League with 7 points. We play Buchanan Castle golf club at home and a win should see the team promoted to the "A" League.

Catering Success

The Catering is a real success story for the Club, and it is all thanks to the culinary skills and dedication of head chef Graham Duncan and his staff, Ell and Ronnie.

The high standard and variety on the menu is encouraging more and more members to dine in the club. There have been two theme nights since Graham joined the Club – a 'Steak Night' in April, and more recently a 'Curry Night' and 'Mexican Cantina' which were well supported by the members, with the cuisine on these special nights getting their seal of approval.

New Member Introduction Incentive

The Council have agreed that with immediate effect, a special incentive payment will be offered to existing members who introduce a new fully paid member to Falkirk Golf Club.

The incentive will take the form of an addition to your Clubhouse Bar Card of £50, payable as soon as the new member has paid their annual subscription in full upon joining. The incentive will only be available for the introduction of a new full member, and will be reduced pro-rata if for any reason the new member is accepted on a reduced membership fee for the first year.

Only a member aged 18 years or over will be eligible to receive the incentive payment to their Bar Card. There is no limit to the number of new members that any existing member can introduce in any year.

Dining Room Special Offers

The Council has agreed to introduce a special Free Bottle of Wine Offer in the Dining Room with effect from Monday 12th May 2008.

On a Saturday, for a table of 6 or more persons, the party will receive one bottle of house wine free of charge. This offer applies to parties booked for Dinner only, and excludes the High Tea menu.

On any other evening, for a table of 4 or more persons, the party will receive one bottle of house wine free of charge. This offer applies to parties booked for Dinner only, and excludes the High Tea menu.

This offer does not apply on special theme nights where the menu is already priced to provide exceptional value (i.e. the Steak Night or Curry Night).

We hope you will try the new menu in the Dining Room very soon, and enjoy a free bottle of wine on the house for parties as state above. This offer only applies to persons aged 18 or over.
