Greens Machinery Investment

Significant improvements have been made to the course in recent years most notably in respect of improved drainage on the lower areas of the course and improvements to the greens. In order to build on this progress the Council took the decision that the Greens Machinery would require to be upgraded to the most modern greens equipment available.

Several companies were invited to tender for the supply of new equipment with Nairn Brown Ltd (Suppliers of John Deere Greens Machinery) the preferred choice, not only on price but also on the machinery provided.
The costs of servicing and repair have been included in the monthly repayments making it significantly easier to budget for.  We have now entered a 5 year agreement with Nairn Brown Ltd and are convinced members will see the benefits of the new equipment in the years ahead.
 
The major items of new equipment provided are as follows:
2 Tractors
1 Greens (ride on) mower
1 Tees and Approaches (ride on) mower
1 Fairway mower
1 Rough mower
1 Small mower for tree areas
1 Loader
1 Small versatile buggy
